Start by rinsing the chicken and patting it dry. Then, chop it into 2-inch cubes.
Combine all the marinade ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Add the chicken pieces and toss them until evenly coated. Let them marinate for 40 minutes.
Add rice flour to the chicken and mix until well coated.
Preheat the air fryer to 400F. Coat the basket with cooking oil. Once hot, place the chicken cubes inside in a single layer. Air fry for 6-7 minutes.
Flip the chicken and cook for 6-7 more minutes (the internal temperature should reach 165F). Remove from the air fryer and continue with the second batch.
Heat oil in a saucepan. Add garlic, green chilies, and curry leaves. Saute for about 15 minutes. Then, add the chicken. Add black pepper and chaat masala on top. Mix well and remove from the heat.
