Place all the sauce ingredients in a saucepan. Mix and combine them.
Place the sauce pan over medium heat, and allow the mixture to boil and thicken.
Once the mixture is thick, remove it from the heat right away and pour it into a 6*8 inch wide container so it cools off. Place in the freezer for about 10 minutes to speed things up.
Place the salmon fillets into the container and allow them to soak in the marinade for at least 30 minutes.
Place the salmon fillets into the air fryer basket with the skin side facing down.Brush more marinade on top and air fry the fillets at 400F for about 8 minutes. Once the internal temperature reaches 145F- it’s ready.
Add green onions, sesame seeds, or both as a topping to the cooked salmon.
