Air Fryer Teriyaki Salmon

Ingredients
For The Fish
  • 11 oz Salmon Filet (300g) (cut into two pieces)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Sesame Seeds
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Green Onion (finely chopped)
For The Sauce
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 cup Mirin
  • 1/4 cup Sake
  • 1 1/4 tablespoons Cornstarch
  • 3 1/2 tablespoons Regular Soy Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon White Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ginger (grated)
Instructions
  • Place all the sauce ingredients in a saucepan. Mix and combine them.
  • Place the sauce pan over medium heat, and allow the mixture to boil and thicken.
  • Once the mixture is thick, remove it from the heat right away and pour it into a 6*8 inch wide container so it cools off. Place in the freezer for about 10 minutes to speed things up.
  • Place the salmon fillets into the container and allow them to soak in the marinade for at least 30 minutes.
  • Place the salmon fillets into the air fryer basket with the skin side facing down.
    Brush more marinade on top and air fry the fillets at 400F for about 8 minutes. Once the internal temperature reaches 145F- it’s ready.
  • Add green onions, sesame seeds, or both as a topping to the cooked salmon.
