Total Time: 33 minutes
Servings: 12 pieces
Equipment
  • silicone muffin mold
Ingredients
  • 1 sheet Puff Pastry (thawed)
  • 1/3 cup Pecans (chopped)
  • 2 tbsp Butter (melted)
  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar (packed)
  • 2 tbsp Corn Syrup
  • 1 Egg Yolk
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 12 Pecan Halves (for topping)
Instructions
  • In a small bowl, stir together the melted butter, brown sugar, corn syrup, egg yolk, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until well combined. Fold in the chopped pecans.
  • Roll the puff pastry out slightly on a floured surface. Cut into 12 squares roughly 3 inches each.
  • Press each pastry square into a lightly greased silicone muffin mold or small ramekins, forming a little cup shape. Spoon the pecan filling evenly into each pastry cup and top each with a pecan half.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 325F. Place the molds in the air fryer and bake for 12-14 minutes until the pastry is puffed and golden and the filling is set and bubbly.
  • Let them cool in the mold for 5 minutes before carefully removing. The filling will firm up as they cool. Serve warm or at room temperature.
