These juicy Italian sausages come out perfectly cooked with tender, charred peppers and onions. A quick and satisfying meal the whole family will love.

1medium Bell Pepper, sliced into strips
1medium Yellow Onion, sliced into rings
1tbspOlive Oil
1/2tspItalian Seasoning
1/4tspSalt
1/4tspBlack Pepper
4Hoagie Rolls, for serving (optional)
Instructions
Preheat the air fryer to 360 degrees F for 3 minutes. Using a fork, pierce each italian sausage link two or three times on each side. This allows steam to escape and prevents the casings from bursting.
Place the sausage links in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Air fry for 10 minutes, flipping once at the 5-minute mark.
While the sausage cooks, toss the sliced bell pepper and onion with olive oil, italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.
After the initial 10 minutes, push the sausages to one side and add the seasoned peppers and onions around them. Increase the temperature to 380 degrees F and cook for an additional 8 to 10 minutes, tossing the vegetables once halfway through, until the sausage reaches an internal temperature of 160 degrees F and the peppers and onions are tender and lightly charred.
Let the sausages rest for 3 minutes before serving. Serve on their own or nestled into hoagie rolls topped generously with the roasted peppers and onions.
