Equipment

  • air fryer
  • toothpicks

Ingredients

For the Meatballs

  • 1 lb Frozen Fully Cooked Meatballs (beef or beef and pork blend)

For the Sweet Chili Garlic Glaze

  • 1/4 cup Sweet Chili Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 1 tbsp Sriracha
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Rice Vinegar
  • 1 tsp Sesame Oil

For Garnish

  • 1 tbsp Sesame Seeds
  • 2 Green Onions, thinly sliced

Instructions

  • Place the frozen meatballs in the air fryer basket in a single layer. There is no need to thaw them first. If your basket is small, work in batches to avoid stacking.
  • Air fry at 390 degrees F for 10 to 12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the meatballs are heated through, lightly browned, and slightly crispy on the outside.
  • While the meatballs cook, prepare the glaze. In a medium bowl, whisk together the sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, honey, sriracha, minced garlic, rice vinegar, and sesame oil until smooth.
  • Transfer the hot meatballs directly into the bowl with the glaze. Toss well, making sure every meatball is evenly coated in the sticky sauce.
  • Return the glazed meatballs to the air fryer basket. Air fry at 400 degrees F for 2 to 3 minutes to let the glaze caramelize and become sticky.
  • Transfer the meatballs to a serving platter and sprinkle with sesame seeds and sliced green onions. Serve as an appetizer with toothpicks or over steamed rice as a main dish.
