Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 12 minutes
Total Time: 22 minutes
Servings: 4 servings
Ingredients
  • 4 Medium Honeycrisp Apples
  • 2 tbsp Unsalted Butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp Light Brown Sugar
  • 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Nutmeg
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 tsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
Instructions
  • Peel the apples if desired, then core and cut them into 1/2-inch thick wedges. Place them in a large bowl and toss with the lemon juice to prevent browning.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and vanilla extract until well combined. Pour the mixture over the apple wedges and toss until every piece is evenly coated.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 350 degrees F for 3 minutes. Arrange the apple wedges in the basket in a single layer, working in batches if needed to avoid overcrowding.
  • Cook for 10 to 12 minutes, gently shaking the basket halfway through. The apples are done when they are tender and caramelized around the edges but still hold their shape.
  • Transfer the cinnamon apples to a serving dish and let them cool for 2 minutes. Serve warm on their own, over vanilla ice cream, or alongside pancakes and waffles.
