Ingredients
  • 2 Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
  • 1/2 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 Eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup Panko Breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
  • Cooking Spray
  • 1/2 cup Marinara Sauce
  • 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • Fresh Basil, for garnish
Instructions
  • Slice each chicken breast in half horizontally to create 4 thin cutlets. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
  • Set up a breading station with three shallow dishes: flour in the first, beaten eggs in the second, and a mixture of panko breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, italian seasoning, and garlic powder in the third.
  • Dredge each cutlet in flour, dip in egg, then press firmly into the breadcrumb mixture to coat both sides evenly.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Place the breaded cutlets in a single layer in the basket and spray generously with cooking spray.
  • Air fry for 8 minutes, flip, spray the other side, and cook for 5 more minutes until golden and cooked through.
  • Spoon marinara sauce over each cutlet, top with shredded mozzarella, and air fry for 2 more minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Garnish with fresh basil and serve immediately.
